Vacancy Now Filled: Boatyard Manager, Lochnell Estate

DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR BOATS? EXPERIENCE WORKING/MANAGING A BOATYARD? ARE YOU DRIVEN TO SUCCEED AND DEVELOP A BUSINESS?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lochnell Estate, Oban, as a Boatyard Manager.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of Lochnell Estate Boatyard.
- Communicating with boat owners, undertaking maintenance work on boats, organising 3rd party contractors and undertaking administrative duties relating to the Boatyard.
- An exciting time to join Lochnell Estate and assist in developing and expanding the Boatyard business following the first few years' success.
- Working with a small team, during quite periods in the year, assistance may be required elsewhere on the traditional estate.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and highly motivated. Have the ability to work under their own initiative, must have significant experience working on and with boats and be familiar with boat engines, mechanics and electrics.
- In addition, you must have tickets to Level 2 or above for a Powerboat.
- Excellent customer service skills, computer and IT skills are required and knowledge in social media marketing a benefit.
- Full administrative support will be provided through The Estates Office.
