Work starts on 300 houses at Dunbeg

Work has now begun on the construction of 300 affordable homes at Dunbeg on land which previously formed part of Dunstaffnage Estate.

This development is the third phase of the Dunbeg Corridor which will see up to 850 houses built with a significant commercial and retail development and associated infrastructure.

Paul Nicoll of The Estates Office who advises The Dunstaffnage Estate commented that “This is a very exciting new phase for Oban; Dunstaffnage Estate are delighted to have helped formulate the plan and promote the development of the Dunbeg Corridor. The development will go some way to providing not only much needed residential accommodation, but also hugely stimulate the local area through the provision of commercial accommodation for many businesses - both local and national”.
